Hurricane Irene is rapidly approaching (at least, that’s what everyone’s saying) so we started thinking about what you could do if you really are trapped inside all weekend. Score One for the Cyclists!

Bike lanes are a major point of contention, especially here in New York City. A common complaint is that they take up too much room and worsen conditions for auto traffic, but we were happy to hear city planners Ken Greenberg and Trent Lethco make a case in support of the bike lanes, and even provide some evidence that they improve conditions for cars.
