Artist In Residence: Jasmine

Birch on the Upper West Side has got a new artist residing in house! Her name is Jasmine, and she is currently a senior Lighting TD at Blue Sky Studios.  Her lighting credits include Rio 2, Epic, Ice Age: Continental Drift, Rio, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Ghost Town, and The Nanny Diaries. Jasmine holds a BA in Economics/Art History  from Vassar College and received her MS in Digital Imaging and Design from NYU.  After grad school, she began working in the field of 3D medical visualization and moved onto vfx/commercial work for the following seven years before moving into feature animated film work at Blue Sky Studios, where she currently works. In her spare time, Jasmine also enjoys bunnies, capturing life through photography and creating things!
