March Artist In Residence Elyse Brandau

There are three things I am crazy about- 1.) Creating 2.) Comedy 3.) Carrots. Not really carrots, but I am fond of them. My first portrait was when I was 4 years old. It was a unicorn with six legs. My passion for people and animals has transformed into one of a kind portraits since then. October Artist Residency: Marni Wandner

Marni first remembers picking up a camera around age 13 – the result was a lot of black and white photos of cats and people’s feet.  She slowly continued to develop her love for the captured image and has learned a lot along the way. She thinks of photography as her way of collecting visual memories they way she sees them and she hopes to convey a certain sentiment through each finished piece.
