Celebration Time!

We are incredibly excited to share with you with an invitation to the Opening Celebration for our 4th shop! That’s right, our baby Birch4 is open and rockin’ the Upper East Side on 62nd street just off of Lexington! On Wednesday September 10th we are going to have an intimate little gathering starting at 5 pm. Jeremy and Paul will be chatting on all things small biz, coffee, and life. This will be followed by an open Q & A. If you’ve stopped by, you know the space is a quaint one, so the availability for the Talk Back will be limited to 20. Please RSVP to sarah@birchcoffee.com if you’d like to attend, and how many people you will be attending with. After the talk back, around 6 pm, it will be an open party to celebrate YOU. Because let’s be honest, it’s your love and support that lead us to being able to send out this email in the first place. This will go until around 8 pm, we’ll have some drinks, some snacks, some dance moves, and plenty of laughs to go around. (No RSVP necessary, let’s bring a crowd!) We’re excited to celebrate the incredible community you have created, and surrounded us with, and look forward to seeing you on the 10th!   Your Birch Family. P.S. This coming Tuesday, September 2nd from 7-9, we’re hosting another TRIVIA NIGHT on the UWS. All things MUSIC this round. You can send Sarah an email to RSVP your team. But do it quickly, our tables are filling up fast these...

We are too!   We are pourin’ love (and cold brew)  from 7 am to noon just inside Harlow East in Sag Harbor this summer.   The shop is right on the water, and the perfect spot to sit outside on the deck, read the paper, have a croissant and a coffee.   Look forward to seeing you!   Birch Loves...

Birch 2.0 Has Arrived!

Dear Friends,   We cannot thank you enough for your patience over the past couple of months while our flagship store under-went construction, and then moved a hop, skip and jump down the block. It has meant the world, and reminded us repeatedly of why it is we do what we do. YOU.   We are NOW OPEN at 21 East 27th Street. Please come visit us there. We can’t wait to see you, lookin’ all fancy in the new space. The new door is 65 steps east (toward Madison) of the old space. That black, posh looking part of the wall on the block? That’s us! See you soon, friend.   Birch LOVES...

Birch Coffee in The New York Post!

The New York Post sat down with the Birch Guys and got the inside scoop of what it took to bring to life Birch Coffee. Paul Schlader and Jeremy Lyman both decided to open up a coffee shop despite the fact that “We were so green,” says Schlader. “I can’t stress enough that we didn’t know what we were doing.” From maxed out credit cards and an unexpected business coach, Paul and Jeremy built Birch into the coffee shop it is today. If you’re interested in starting your own business, the New York Post also included some tips from Paul and Jeremy. You can catch the article...
